Shelter from the Storm

Thank you to all of our valued customers for your generous donations and support towards Shelter from the Storm!

Canadian Women’s Foundation, in partnership with Winners and HomeSense, BMO Financial Group and Rogers Media, raised an incredible $1.5 million during the sixth annual Shelter from the Storm campaign. Funds raised during the month-long campaign will go to more than 400 shelters for abused women across Canada, and violence prevention programs that are breaking the cycle of abuse.

Shelter from the Storm launched at Winners with the sale of Shelter from the Storm t-shirts, umbrellas, reusable totes, and triple-milled soap. Customers could also contribute a $2, $5, $10 donation in store.

Since the partnership began in 2005, Winners customers and associates have raised over $4.5 million for the Canadian Women’s Foundation, through Shelter from the Storm and other donation programs throughout the year.
