Shelter from the Storm is a fundraising campaign that benefits the Canadian Women’s Foundation, one of the largest women’s foundations in the world dedicated to ending violence against women, moving low-income women out of poverty, and instilling strength and resilience in young girls. Winners and HomeSense have been dedicated supporters of the Canadian Women's Foundation since 2005, and thanks to the generosity of our customers and associates, we have helped raise over $6.3 million to help improve the lives of women and girls nation wide. Winners is proud to support the Sunshine Foundation: Dreams for Kids, the only national Canadian charity to provide individual dreams to children with severe physical disabilities (such as spina bifida or cerebral palsy) as well as life-threatening illnesses. Since our partnership began in 1999, Winners and HomeSense customers and associates have helped to raise over $3,950,000 to brighten the lives of children across the country.
